₹50,000 Every Month for Children's Mental Health Care at IEC
The Institute for Exceptional Children (IEC), Mumbai, works with children who have lived through a traumatic childhood — most of them under 15 years of age. Its main treatment is counselling and medication, supported by psychological assessment, psychiatric consultation, remedial education, teacher training and parenting forums. Reliable Charitable Trust donates ₹50,000 every month to IEC, funding the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Project, which aims to strengthen access to timely, inclusive and age-appropriate mental health support for children and adolescents. IEC's own quarterly report for May to July 2026 — reproduced in full below, exactly as submitted to the trust — records what that funding paid for: individual and caregiver counselling at the institute and its Tunga and Marol Pipeline OPDs, group sessions in schools and colleges, sessions for parents and teachers, and community events across Mumbai.
