What Happened
At the free eye camp held in Vasai on 7 December 2025, volunteers didn't just screen and move on — they followed through. When Shabbirbhai Kachwala was found with an advanced cataract left untreated for two years, a volunteer tracked him down and his surgery was completed within a week of diagnosis, restoring his vision. Ten-year-old Insiyah Limdiwala's squint was surgically corrected by Dr. Mustafa Parekh, with full recovery.
“Shabbirbhai had lived with a worsening cataract for two years. Within seven days of our camp finding him, he was on the operating table. Today, he can see.”
